The 6th Annual African-American College Planning Conference will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Golden Valley High School in Santa Clarita.
Students and parents are invited to participate in engaging and informative workshops on topics such as funding college, applying for college, the reasons for going to college, transitioning to college, opportunities for STEM majors, everything you wanted to know about historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), Ivy Leagues, and more. There will also be a college and resources fair following the workshops with alumni and admissions representatives from a variety of local and out-of-state public and private colleges and universities.
The college planning conference is open to all middle school and high school students. This is a free public event and will include a light breakfast and great raffle prizes!
