The 21 pioneering charter members answered the challenge of combining resources to provide much needed services to the community of the San Fernando Valley. The early social activities included many events that raised funds for scholarships.
The SFVA Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is committed to community service in the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita, and Burbank areas. With your help, we can make a difference for families and individuals residing in the Valley.
Delta Sigma Theta is a sisterhood comprised primarily of Black, college-educated women that address issues impacting the community, and meet those challenges with a wide-range of support, health, and educational programs that strengthen African American families.
